SPEEDWORLD S/SS COMBO
Our next event will be held on Sunday, November 18th. This is the last chance to race S/SS just about anywhere in the country this year. Here's our flyer: http://www.speedworlddragstrip.com/f...7%202%20bw.pdf Guys ,I'll keep doing this as long as it doesn't cost me any money, but I need your support. We usually get about a third of the Class cars in the state and a few from Vegas and SoCal. I know we can do better than that. There will be an ADRA race on Saturday and T&T runs on Saturday night. The Goodguys show will be going on that weekend with 2-3000 cars on the grounds over in Scottsdale, so come on out and enjoy the whole weekend with us. I'm looking for a Combo title sponsor, and also some postings for Long Distance Award Winner, Best Package Shoot out Winner, and No. 1 Qualifier Award. (OK, make that no. 2 Qualifier) I'll be at Fontana, if you'd like to talk to me about posting an award , or just call me anytime. 602-769-0346 Thank you If you plan on attending, please let us know right here on this thread.

Mark, I'll be there !! We have some medical issues in the family right now, so we won't be able to debut the car at Fontana. We should have everything taken care of by the time of your event. Is it fair that you win the low qualifier at your own race????? Let someone else win it !!!! LOL Rick

Rick , Don't worry. I'll exempt myself from that.....I'm not THAT big of a shakedown artist.
BTW, Thanks, Ed O'Brien. Now, who'll match Ed's commitment?

It is a good thing that Jeff Lee does not run in Stock anymore...

Mark,
I'll be there. Since my 4 grade points won't get me into Pomona, I'll finish out the year in Arizona.

Joe, Yes you can actually race on Saturday, if you'd like, with the ADRA (box and no box brackets) Also there is a T&T session Saturday evening.
You will be able to stay inside the gate Saturday evening if all the fees are paid. Payout , as always is based on 100% of the $100 lane fee ($25 tech card fee goes to the track) We also have some special awards to pay out, which I'll list soon . Thanks,

Update: This is a list of the special awards to date:
Div 1 Stock racer Jack Matyas has generously stepped up to the plate to sponsor our combo race. Thanks to Jack's help, the winner of the Bethlehem Auto Sales S/SS Combo will have an extra $200 added to first place award. Jack lives about 2000 miles from here and won't be attending, but he wants to be sure that independent S/SS racing carries on. If you live in the Eastern Pa / NJ area, please think of Jack the next time you shop for a car or truck. Way to go, Jack Don Forrester has once again sponsored the 3rd TT Best Package Shootout award. SS Compact racer Larry Dowty will again contribute the Long Distance award winner check. The one and only Ed O'Brien , showing his generousity and sense of humor, has contributed $100 dollars for the 1st round winner with the WORST reaction time! The good folks at RV-455 have donated two gallons of their fine product to the winner and r/u Thanks to all the above for helping keep this S/SS racing alive. If anyone else would like to help out, contact me right away and we'll get you listed. Thanks,Mark
