Looking for recommendations on someone near Joliet that can do brake repair on a Freightliner Colombia

Hi Mike,
Don't know if you have a warranty issue or just a repair and don't know how far you want to drive. Rendel's GMC is a big truck dealer and service place on Route 53 just south of Interstate 80.
Transchicago is in Shorewood. They are on the N/E Frontage road of I55 north of I 80 at the Route 52 exit. 815-600-8301.
If you go North on Route 53 into Bolingbrook, there is Northwest truck. They are by Route 53 and I55. 630-226-0900.
I never had to deal with any of these dealers with repairs. I did have to buy some parts from the GMC guys years ago. Good luck this week.

Thanks for the referrals. Unfortunately I didn't make it that far. Rear brake drum came apart in Iowa. .8 hours and $1500 we are on our way to sit in the rain. Are we having fun yet?

Look at the bright side. Win the race and you will get a Wally and enough money to pay for the repair. I hope your trip back home is a lot better than your trip to the race. Good luck and I'll see you when you get back.
