Default Combo races at Yakima

Just to let everyone know, Yakima is planning two double header combo races this coming season, July 4/5 and Oct 10/11. They ran a combo race for us this last October and we apparently behaved ourselves so they have invited us back. Pretty good payout also. They treated well, even gave us a dedicated spot in the pits so we could hang out together, let's make sure we support them on this.

That race in October was so much fun! I’m really looking forward to going back for another combo race.

And they don't interfere with any divisionals . The Open schedules aren't up yet though. I have a car that will run the number now, so NOW I Hope to try Those out as well.

Jim,

Derek announced at the track banquet that racing in 2020 would be quarter mile. As in previous years however, if it rains, someone oils down the top end, etc., he'll switch to eighth mile as he sees fit.

Even though I don't race, it was fun being at the last event. Got to meet some people and talk with others. Looking forward to both events in 2020.

Larry, If you need any help at these events don't hesitate to ask. Glad you took the ball and ran with it, but you shouldn't have had to do it all yourself.

Will the October event be connected to the Ellensburg reunion as it was last year? That was very cool.

Hey Ron,
He has It called Northwest Reunion Drags now.

By the way, I remember now you were right. I went to the 3rd round on Saturday with the Escort. But I ran it in No Box that day.

Ron,

Thanks, but Brian Thompson handled the qualifying and ladder setup - I was just the leg guy to let everyone know. I plan to take car of qualifying and the ladder this year so Brian can focus on racing his car.

Find me at the first race and we can share the load.
