Refund if National Event is Cancelled?

What happens if you are entered into a National but it gets cancelled? Do you get a refund etc? I have a friend who got into one with only 2 grade points and he was asking, I wasn't sure so thought id ask here.

You get credit towards another National Event, no refund, you have a year to use it at another NE or you lose it!

What happens if you try for a year to get into another national but due to low grade points you cannot? You just loose it? or can it be used towards a Divisional?

Suggest contacting the Competition department, if you go into the registration page just click the contact link and you can complete. They also list a phone number 626 250-2271.

It can't be used towards a Divisional, Only Nationals

It count's towards a Sports Nats also.

Just to dispell any rumors that NHRA is issuing refunds for ANY cancelled National Events, THEY ARE NOT!!..

Tried my best, threw every reason I could think of at them, and was met with their usual "You have one year to use your credit"..

I even tried the "I'll never race another National Event" ploy.. got a chuckle on that one..

Make sure you go on to the registration page, where you will see the NHRA message under your entry.. I was told that everyone got this message, but some have not seen it.. when you do, HIT PRINT, cause they didn't recognize my withdrawal, stating that they counted every entry as a withdrawal, until they don't..
