Default Thanks Nitro Joe

Great race that you put on. 40 cars turn out for Stockers and Super Stockers. Weather was great. If you did not show up YOU missed a great time.

Thanks Nitro Joe

Yes, it was a great turn out. We were talking with Nitro Joe about doing another one of these at the Pro Mod superbowl in February. I know everyone had a great time, and when i mentioned we needed to have more of these races in d4 everyone agreed. I would like to thank Nitro Joe for running a heck of a race, and Stan Holt for putting up that extra money. Hopefully we can get at least 3 of these going in the off season in the coming years!! I know my father and I are willing to put in some time and money to help out!!!! Thanks again

Yes thankx Joe for putting on a great STK/SS show.
Other than the snafu in first round where almost all losing MOPARS were given another chance, with a few re-runs just to make the numbers work out after all it was a MOPAR weekend .
Seriously this was a blast, yes we definitely need more of these in D4!!
As for you Mr. Buckner, you 1.29 under MOPAR drivin' fool, I hate you , but boy does your car haul AZZ. You really didn't need that $100 low qualifier money did you??
Just kiddin' that Orange car is sweet.
later ....TURKMAN

There ought to be a law about having that much fun racing. We just had a blast. Good track, lots of runs, fair treatment. I raced so much Saturday, I had to turn down two passes cause it was going to interfere with my beer drinkin. Maybe we need one at No Problem. Thanks for the great time.

Now that was fun!! Kinda' like the old days without all the BS!! Good turn out. Joe, you did a great job!! Lots of fun even with RJ and his 105 db generator parked beside me. That seems mean to RJ, but you have to remember, he talks at 110 db so the generator was actually background noise!!

That generator is no match against a RJ/Bob Utsler conversation i'll tell you that. Charlie at least you had a trailer between you and that generator. Just kidding RJ. RJ the distributor is on the wrong side of the engine!!!

You know I think we are on to something. Having one in Belle Rose would be the ultimate, but have an index race on one of the days like Pat ran at the Sports Nationals. I'm sure we can come up with some pretty interesting races( gambler's race, heads up races). I hope this is the start of something bigger to come. A race in Belle Rose would be awesome, just gives us another reason to party, as if we really needed one! As for TURKMAN, I would come back with some sheettt talkin' but, since your about 3 times my size i'll keep my mouth closed. At least it was good sheettt though. You know the best part about it is that were FAST and LEGAL! January sounds good just hope it's not to cold though, i guess down in the wet lands the swamp gases keep it a steady 55 degrees in the winter! JJK that is by far the best race track I' ve ever been to, and the most fun. Charlie you need to quite talking about RJ like that behind his back, you know he can't read.Haha

Bobby, I think the Houston Stock/Super Stock race was a lot of fun and I am very glad I went. However, I am sorry I was not able to make the call for 1st round. It seemed we had transmission trouble and no spare tranny! Ouch... That was the second thing that went wrong. The first bit of bad luck was on Saturday at about 11:00 AM. While waiting for the call for the second time trial, a tire blew out on the trailer. It sounded like a bomb went off! A trip to a near-by tire store and the repairs were made in less than an hour. The damage to the tranny was only minor, a new slidder and and a new second gear will be in order. Can't wait for next year!
