Hi Larry, as of today we are planning on being there. Now if we can just ensure that there won't be a dust storm like last year. LOL

Jim,
Dave is correct. Last week Derek told me that all racing would be 1/4 mile for the combo weekend. So load up that yellow rocket and we'll see you there.

The weatherman got this one right. Beautiful morning, warming up nicely. Come on out.

Saturday was sunny and clear, around 65 degrees, and a perfect fall day for racing.
The Saturday winner was Jim Devine in his H/S Duster over Tod Haste in his B/SA 70 Camaro. Sunday was cooler and windy at times. The wind blew hard enough that the track manager switched all racing to 1/8 mile. The wind died down at times, but it was probably the right call for safety reasons. The Sunday winner was Kathy Poitra in her H/SA Chev Nova over Jim Devine in his H/S Duster. Special thanks to Steve Hahn Volkswagen for sponsoring both races.

I went as a camper and enjoyed the weekend. Very nice people and a good low pressure place to race, The wind on Sunday sucked but nothing compared to the rain on the way back over the mountains to the Tacoma area. Met Dave after a while. I was looking for a yellow Cougar not a white Escort with tiny tiny tiny tires.
