Adding a 2 step, what are ya'll using for a chip at or below 3000rpm. I am footbraking it between 2800 and 3000 depending on spot on tree. Will it go higher on 2 step without pushing? All I see is an adjustable chip(screw adjustment) for rpm that low.

On my footbrake bracket car, I put a Digital 6 in the car with a built in two step...it has the adjustment dials for setting the two step at low rpm. I launch it at 24-2500. From playing around with the launch, I found no difference in how the car pushes vs. the foot brake. Just added the convenience of matting the throttle as opposed to having to "dial the rpm". I can get it up to 31-3200 before it pushes.

Car already has a 7al3 so I was trying to simplify things. I may just buy a couple of them, set them different and then label them accordingly.

I use the adjustable unit - never had a problem. Set at 2600 - couldn't hold on the 3000 chip that I had.

The adjustable chip for low rpm on two step works, you need an ohm meter to measure resistance to get rpm where you want it.

If your car wants to push through the lights look at your rear brakes. On a hot track the front tires will side very easy.

I have a adjustable MSD chip in a footbrake car a OHM meter is nec to check it but you can make a quick change in the car and see. Slightly diff question would anyone speak to me about what changes are needed to be done to a Qjet to use a 2 step on my footbrake car. Thank You
