Red face Ballast???

On the lighter side..........

Folks,

What are you using for ballast in the back of your trucks when it snows??

In my little GMC Sonoma, I just put four Buick 350 intakes in the back. This trucks spins the tires when it is real humid out, let alone rain or snow!!! Each intake weighs about 70# and it is good to get them "weathered"!!!! Just ask Billy Nees! I think he has his intakes and heads planted in the ground.

Safe Trips All and Happy Holidays!

...just one of the reasons I moved to North Carolina.

Kinda funny, when I lived in Ohio and had my '00 Dakota Quad Cab (2WD), I never once got stuck in the snow, even driving up the long Quaker City entrance road in 6-8". BUT... in order to change the message on the road sign at Quaker, I used to back the truck up and stand on the tailgate. Got it stuck on level ground once, in damp grass. Go figure!

Old wheels with tires, you know the rollers for your project cars,.. or just fill the bed with snow that you shoveled from the driveway. If you live in Baltimore, use the dead bodies from drive-by shootings. The cold weather keeps them from stinking.

My preference is my 10 year collection of worn out 460 Ford heads from my old motorhome!!! .....That sucker was good for a new set every year or so. .....Tom
