"Electronic shifting of automatic transmissions permitted."
This is in the Stock Car section under "TRANSMISSION, Automatic" tucked away nicely in the middle of the paragraph. There are no FI classes, so I take this as a rule for ALL stock eliminator cars. Also checked for rule changes in the National Dragster that came with the rule book and there is nothing relative to this as of 11/30/07. Anyone care to speculate? M. Vignochi PS-I haven't purchased my e-shift Turbo 200 yet, but I'd sure like to! |

No, but I'd like for everyone else to do it, especially in the same class I'm running.

Mike,
The electonic trans by GM are only 4-speed o/d and only available in 90 & newer. If your car is older you will have to use an auto 1-2 valve body which uses oil pressure . NHRA should update the class guide telling which year eletronic shift is legal so all will know. |
