I am glad this biography has been done. I pray that a book is done at some point, also.
Jesse Combs was a Class Act. I got to meet her at Ed Shadle's memorial Service in October of 2018. Ed was one of the visionaries/owners of the North American Eagle. I walked up to Jesse and shook her hand and we talked for several minutes about the service and her involvement in the project. Jesse is famous and I am just a guy, she could have blown me off, but took the time to talk with me. I was impressed with her as a person and as a car enthusiast. When news of her death reached all of us here in the Northwest, I went to the shop in Parkland. Les Holm and I along with others that were there just stood in silence at the shock of losing Jesse. Nothing much was said, but we ALL felt the loss. Godspeed to Jesse and may her legacy live forever. She was amazing as a person and as a woman in Motorsports.
