Need some good news during these dark and rainy times in the PNW.
Tell all the NWCR members by posting here , what improvement s your doing over these winter months to your Hot Rod for 2023. New Cam, New combo , new Car , etc, what is everyone working on? My project is a complete new BB Aluminum headed 70 Camaro. A or B car. It's a roller now and will start plumbing and wiring soon. Hope to have it out in the spring but it will be in primer. Then come apart for paint. So not in a finished condition until summer/ fall. Refreshing both 350 motors for the Green car. Not sure if the 4 barrel or the 2 barrel is going in it to start. May depend on which parts come in first that I'm waiting for. What's you Winter Project? |

For my not often seen Cougar I talked with the Ford homies about a problem I've been having with the C4 in it and I think it will be on the road to recovery. Also toying with a little different engine combo for it. Still planning.
For the Escort it will be getting a different transaxle and clutch. I might get the long tube header done for it as well. Just got a shorty on it now. And I have a bigger cam for it as well.

Giving mine a little refresh. After 561 runs I figured it was time. Will also go thru the trans. Hopefully pick up a few thousands next year.
Can hardly wait to get back at it next year!

I have run into delays on getting parts that use to be stocked items, SO Plan ahead.
Total Seal is 8 weeks on common size ring sets . Crank and timing cover seal sets took me 4 weeks to get it Ricky, you were getting up in that Seaburg run total! Steve Teeter Stk/SS 620 |
