Mid Atlantic Season Opener - Mason Dixon April 26th & 27th

The Mid Atlantic Super Series will host its season opener at Mason Dixon Dragway on April 26th & 27th, 2025. The series that has almost turned into a mini-divisional event will be a great T&T for those who are looking to get out for some competition in the Northeast before the D1 schedule starts up on Memorial Day weekend.

Gates will open at 5pm Friday the 25th for a Track Operated Test & Tune for $60 plus crew from 6 to 10pm, Gates re-open at 9am Saturday & Sunday with Juniors going hot at 10am both days, the plan is 2 qualifiers and eliminations on Saturday and 1 qualifier and eliminations on Sunday. We will have a complete rotation out in a few weeks!

We will be rolling out a brand-new website through My Race Pass in a week or so that will be very interactive to the racers and allow racers to Pre-Enter the events if they wish. The gate fee and crew fee would still have to be purchased at the track.

The Mid Atlantic Super Series has launched a new interactive website for the Mid Atlantic Super Series, we have worked hard with Amanda Wesler of My Race Pass to create a site that is for the racer.

So as most of you have asked, what makes it racer friendly?

- Being able to pre-register for events - we know a few of you use a CC as your means of payment for racing events, this will now allow you to pre-enter an event and not have to rob the ATM on a Friday Night. You will still have to pay the gate fee, crew fee and optional Calcutta but this solves some of the bulk payment of having to carry cash. The Mason Dixon Race 1 & 2 and Cecil County Race 3 & 4 are now active to enter if you wish.

- Points being updated as the event is going on - yes as sheets are printed by the tower, Dana or I will be updating the points per round.

- Racers profiles - buy claiming your profile you can basically create a Facebook like profile for all your racing accomplishments, as articles are posted about your wins, they attach to your profile

- Live Timing and Audio Announcing - Right now the 2 tracks we visit are not compatible with MyRacepass (Compulink & Accutime) but if we add a track that is compatible you will get live timing and be able to subscribe to listen to the announcer during our races.

The Mid Atlantic .90 series is proud to continue its partnership with the Edelbrock Group for the 2025 season. The group has had a long-standing relationship with the .90 series that is well over 10 years now.

As we have done in previous years if you have signed up via the Edelbrock Portal you are safe but Billy and his team will now have a paper copy that can be filled out and mailed, emailed, faxed back to him forever those who arent savvy with a computer.

Once again, all winners of an event that are running the stickers & registered online will get $150 cash and runners-up will get $75 per product in a check a few weeks after the event. The items eligible are Comp Cams, Edelbrock and TCI. So a chance at an additional $450 to win and $225 runner-up per race and just think a weekend with 32 cars could be a nice $4,500 payday!

Edelbrock, TCI and Comp Cams stickers will be available at the first race, so please pick them up and place them on your car.

We know the LODRS Schedule doesn't kick off till Memorial Day Weekend, everyone is looking for places to test before those events. With the closing of tracks and limited track rental opportunities for many have become few and far between to test before any events. I've been asked by a few racers if it was possible to rent Mason Dixon for the Friday, April 25th for our first race weekend. Jake at MD was kind enough to send me the information and if we do so it will be $150 for 30 spots, both lanes prepped on the 25th from 10-3. Once the 30 spots fill up there will be a waiting list, this is open to anyone who wants to come. Payment must be made before the T&T to secure your spot, the cutoff date to pay will be April 18th, 2025 - if you don?t pay, we will roll over to the wait list to fill the spots.

All the info you need for the season opener on April 25th to 27th at Mason Dixon

First off - I know last year there was some people who took the way from Baltimore (95 to 695 to 70) and said they would never go back due to the traffic so I did some research, if you come from another way then disregard this, it might take an additional hour or so - THE BEST WAY COMING FROM NJ / NY IS PA T-PIKE TO ROUTE 81 NEAR CARLISE THEN 81 TO 70 to 66 AND TO 40, GPS WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU TO 15 - DON'T TAKE 15 TO 77, IT LITERALLY TAKES YOU OVER THE MOUNTAIN AND IS NOT FUN!!! TRACK IS ABOUT A MILE FROM 70 on 40, SHEETZ IS ON THE CORNER IF YOU NEED FUEL. I MEAN EVERYONE DRIVE LIKE IDIOTS ANYMORE SO THE BEST I CAN DO IS GIVE YOU AS MANY ALTERNATIVES IF POSSIBLE.

Friday, April 25th - I'm doing a track rental T&T from 10 to 3pm for $150, we have 20 cars committed already, we willl cap it at no more then 30, PLEASE TEXT ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, DON'T JUST SHOW UP, if not gates open at 4pm and there is a Track operated T&T from 6 to 10pm that night for $60 but like anything else you'll be with other street type cars and can't promise you as many runs as you might need. If you want to get in on the Track operated T&T I need payment and a commitment no later than April 18th.

Saturday, April 26th - Gates open at 8:30-9am and racing starting off at 10am (Juniors will be called at 9:45 amd cars going down at 10) with Juniors (They have noise curfews due to the church at the end of the track), we will do everything in our power to get everyone 2 TT and eliminations but it's April so Temps drop pretty good once the sun goes down, so we want to get finished at a decent time. As most found out last year, when we call ya to the lanes please get there, Elmer has no issues running a class with cars missing. We will do a Racers BBQ at 7pm, sides are always welcomed and then followed by the practice tree event (Top, Pro & Bottom) - $20 entry, $10 buybacks

Sunday, April 27th - Gates open at 8:30-9am and racing starting off at 10am (First call at 9:45am, want cars going down at 10), it will be 1 TT and into eliminations, so we want to get finished at a decent time and get you guys on the road at a decent time because we know MONDAYS SUCK...lol!

For those coming the MD for the first time, give the place a try, it's not that far....you all go to VMP or Epping....this is a cake walk compared to those drives, as far as parking goes (Take a look at the map), if you are looking for a flat spot either the tower side or down at the bottom are the best bets, as they are the flattest, I have highlighted them in yellow, the Return Road is off to your left and you'll cross behind the staging lanes to get back to those pits. We will do the best to have some roads open so we can make some entry / exit ways as I know the back portion was tough with the spots saved last year.

Run order is also attached and you can PRE-ENTER with a Credit Card up until April 19th at www.midatlanticsuperseries.net. After the 19th, entering at the trailer is your only option with cash. Memberships and Calcutta are at the trailer also and even if you enter online, you still need to come check in with us at the trailer, I know we have about 3 people who did it already!

Entries per day are:
.90 Racers - $50 at gate / $100 to me - optional calcutta for $20
Top Dragster and Sportsman - $50 at Gate / $150 to me - optional $20 calcutta
Juniors - $20 at gate plus crew / $30 paid to me
Super Pro - $65 plus buybacks

Two weeks from today we roll into Mason Dixon Dragway for Race # 1 & 2 of the MA Super Series kick off!

The Track Rental is full for Friday Morning but there is a Track T&T from 6-10pm that night for $60 I believe.

You'll have till 4/18/25 at Midnight to Pre-Enter on the website for those racers who only use a CC and don't carry cash, so far, we have about 6 racers who have jumped on this opportunity! If you don't pre-enter it will be business as usual as you come to register at the trailer.

If you are also coming to Mason Dixon or need Hoosier Tires, Roy from HTMA will be delivering tires if you need them either Friday or Saturday afternoon - please reach out to him with your requests as I know most of you wait till Maple Grove to flood Roy with tire requests, mounting and he becomes a busy, busy man so if we could help him out a little and get ahead of the game!
