Mark, how about a 2.3T C4 convertor on an 8 or 7 inch core?

The trade off would be on the other end, of course. Maybe backing off one number on the gear ratio would bring the mph back You know that the smaller the converter, the higher the price though... You'd have to do the testing now I never got around to it with mine, but I did kick it around a bit in my mind.

I am nearing the testing phase of a 75 Maverick with Mark's converter. Wondering if anyone is willing to share incrementals of a U/SA for baseline.
I don't know how the converter will work,but the service has been great. |

Mike,
Mark has plenty of U/SA experience. He can tell you what they could be. Of course a lot of things affect your incremental times besides the torque converter.
