The "Leaving like that" thing is called Cal-Tracs. As in John Calvert.
This particular car has quite a pedigree. Read up on it here:

http://morenoracing.com/keenracing.shtml

I believe Alex D. had something to do with the carb on it. Not sure.

In the interest of accuracy,,, they're actually called Cal-Tracs. Don't take my word for it, check out their website or look at their decals.

I know. The box is in my garage. My auto correct did that and I didn't catch it. I'll edit the post.

If the car in FireSail's link is the car you are talking about, That's a 428 4 speed car. Eric Waldo ran 1 like it, haven't seen it lately though.

I think he's referring to the '65/'66, not the '69.

Seen in ND running 10.20's in SS/KA is strong to run that fast in SS/KA that is one reason for the wheelies also good working suspension

It's the entire package, and the ability of being able to apply every iota of HP to the ground
Don and I are very close and consequently share a lot of data and parts. He helped us a lot with our 428 CJ stocker program and I reciprocated with his 289 SS deal
