That was real good info for me. I went back to the stamp steel on my 396/325 motor, like the way I ran it in 2003. I do have a set of cheaper Roller Rockers knocks off, beside the fact I have to go for longer stud, I also really need custom shorter pushrods to correct the geometry of the rocker, sits off center on the valve stem, due to cutting head to mininium plus square deck the block. plus I don't trust those rockers.
So I am using the Crane stamp steel rockers I had., Never had a problem ,never broke a rocker arm. Seems no HP loss for me. Stock BBC 7/16 studs anyway, motor will see 6600 tops. Will Lamprecht 396/325 Last edited by impstocker; 04-27-2018 at 02:50 PM. Reason: add something |
