I learned a lot from Jim Harrington that guy would sit out time runs because it would cut into his fun time

![]() I didn't keep up with the run logging this past year, and it probably isn't a coincidence that I didn't have as strong a season. It was decent. I spend all day working in Excel, so I can make it look like work while I do it. A lot of manual fixing and deleting stuff though. I wish NHRA would allow some way to access the data directly, but I wouldn't hold my breath! I don't even know that having that exact information is the most helpful thing, but it represents an attitude of being as prepared as humanly possible, and I let that attitude slide.

Just plug the info into the computer, put the numbers in the box and go along for the ride. Easy.
At least, that's what the guys who don't do it tell me. |
