Our Stockers in that range were about .10 - .12 slower to 60.
1/2 due to tires and suspension and the other 1/2 Convertor.

Getting rid of the 7" tires made the ET's and 60's better.
You could run more gear, converter and for the sticks more clutch. Then the suspension changes to Cal tracks rather than slappers (and other Fixes) allowed even more.
