I got used to Lake, he doesn't really bother me now.
Those of us who are older remember the flat tappet catastrophes that happened in the late seventies and early eighties, before the drive to lower zinc in the oil, and that's where the roller tappet move originated. The need to have longer warranty periods to remain competitive, and for emissions purposes added to it. The problem we have now is as much a result of material and manufacturing quality as it is oil. Of course, in Stock it is exacerbated by the spring pressures.
