Bleed off is a good point. I'll definetly look at the cam bearings , lifter bore clearance and rod side clearance. I can't change the side clearance without ordering new rods , which I'm not.

You might look at 10552C pump would be a better choice at that kind of RPM.
Side clearance is not a factor in bleed off, I have build piston guided rod engines with .115 side clearance and no issues.
Its bearing clearance which regulates the amount of oil bleeding out between the rods.
Jake Stelter engine won Drag week 2 years in a row had some issues and was correct with a pan and pump. He is on F/B and might be of some help.
