most power can be made with the 270. GT40 P heads are better.
I run the 285 motor. original GT40 heads, .480 lift roller cam 1.6 RR. Same motor that came in 1993 Mustang Cobra minus the 1.7 roller rockers. (Factory B303 cam) I actually ran the B303 cam for a few years.
Other than the heads and cam lift, I believe the bottom end of each engine is the same as production 302's.
