Frankly I don't care one way or another.
I was just pointing out a fact that it was a non existant factory car. (no matter what Bernie or Alan say) You could not go to a dealer and buy one. No more than you could go buy a 67 GT500 Shelby with a solid lifter camshaft, CJ headed, aluminum intake, 850 CFM Corvette carbed Mustang from a dealer. But they are both NHRA accepted and in the guide. You could buy a: 62 SD Pontiac 63 Z-11 Chebbie 63 Max Wedge 64 Fairlane T-Bolt 65 Hemi car 66 WO Hemi car 67 427 Fairlane 68 Hemi Dart/Cuda 681/2 428 CJ Mustang 69 COPO Chebbies 69 ZL-1 Camaro 69-70 Boss 429 72 351CJ Mustang 2008 CJ Mustang 2009 DP Challenger 2010 CJ Mustang From a dealership. PS The 68 W code 427 Mustang is also in the NHRA guide but Ford never sold one of those either. Shelby sold Mustang coupes for Trans Am racing with a fiber glass hood and scoop. I don't get to use that hood. Too bad for me. I'm over it LOL But just wait until I get my letter and approval for the Paxton Supercharger 289/235HP option. ![]() ![]()
