Cruiser, 1972 Olds Delta 88 2r. Royale 455 C.I. SS/RA 4700 plus lbs., tubbed , Dana 60 with 5.57 and Firestone 14/32 on Cragar super tricks. 1975 NHRA record holder 1/4 and 1/8. We built this car in late 74 and raced it in 75. This was the first year of two that we raced off the index with the first car to the stripe the winner without any breakout. There is a long story about this car involving Dale Smith, Oldsmobile and fellow racers. Some of it interesting some unpleasant but all fact.
