What's really interesting is that PRO has not been in on any discussions with NHRA concerning this---Most owners/members are against this debacle--NHRA has aparently donne this without consulting with the teams/owners/drivers---we shall see--

Drag racing should be 2 lanes, quarter mile PERIOD. Not 1/8 mile not 1000 feet.

I think what they need to do is run the fuel cars and the alcohol classes on one set. Then run pro stock and the sportsmen on the other. The lane prep needs are different for those classes. May be less work for the crew in the long run.

Byron Drag-way (Rockford IL.) did this (4 wide) back in the old, Gas, Coupe, and Sedan days(late 60's-early '70's)

boy some of those no staging clowns in super classes could throw a whammy into the mix if super classes was raced 4 wide.
