I've never had a "bracket mode" as I'm in the "let's rotate the earth every pass crowd".
But you'll see others:
- change to radials
- massive engine cool down
- adjust timming
- adjust jetting
- connect the secondaries
- increase launch RPM
- increase shift RPM
- let the alternator belt fall behind the pulley
- change to light-weight crisco and forget a few quarts
- Re-calibrate factory on-board computer if applicable
- confirm valve lash is set
- remove air filter
- use the really high dollar fuel
- adjust weight
That covers the
legal stuff. Or at least all I can think of right now.
