lOOKING FOR SPEC'S 302/215@240

I keep looking at the factored HP of those 3 crate engines.

The 270 hp is factored @ 250....only 10 more than the 215 @ 240 hp engine plus the 270 uses a larger lift cam, and better heads.

However, the 285 hp is factored at 255 hp. I do not have any literature about the 285 engine combo. ( I would love to see a scanned print copy of that 285 )

It seems to me the 270 or 285 would be a better choice to start with, maybe ?? Larger lift and better heads.
