If I remember right, my 70-1/2 Z28 had an aluminum intake with the little w on it, so did my 69 , can't remember if the 67 S/S 396-375 did or not, 95% sure it did. Do they run stock eliminator?
STOCK ELIMINTOR (not doing the dots) is the body only now, 30 years ago you had a valid argument, not today. IMO

I don't know which page you missed where some of the more intelligent posters realized that the subject had rolled over. Obviously you didn't. Since you are an original stuff only guy, I assume you would take up the torch for all parts, bodies, rule adjustments that are just not to some racers likings even thought they don't have a car or a car in the pack? The SUBJECT is the 68-70 340s having an AFTERMARKET (says so right in Galen Glovier's book) manifold approved for use in STOCK Eliminator. Now maybe you can get one of your "more intelligent posters" to explain the difference in definition between AFTERMARKET and REPLACEMENT. The LD340 is an AFTERMARKET manifold not a REPLACEMENT manifold.
