In Super Stock, GT or conventional, there is no rule requiring the use of a rear end from the same manufacturer.

I'm curious how a Vega with a 6.2 LS fits GT/EA and not GT/AA ? 3900lb Vega or do they rate the 6.2 about the same as an old 283?

The shipping weight for a 1971 Vega is ~2433 (including the driver) but how much do you add with just the V8 engine alone? Remember they removed the rule limiting how much weight can be removed/added in GT classes. |

Vega is a 5.7 LS1 combo, not the 6.2.
