Oh,so it would go up by 16 horsepower if it was in a 1970 442 convertible because they are so aerodynamic?

The 2022 Rulebook says any vehicle that is in the classification guide . The engine that is installed must be a V8 . George's car is sweet !!

The more I learn about SS/GT the more I appreciate Stock Eliminator.

Well,I admit that I didn't really follow it.I took a look at the rulebook tonight and had no idea that a foreign car is now legal in Super Stock .A 2007 Honda with an LS engine? Interesting.

In Super Stock, GT or conventional, there is no rule requiring the use of a rear end from the same manufacturer.

You are correct. I was thinking about cross over of Mopar/AMC parts in general such as in Stock.

I'm curious how a Vega with a 6.2 LS fits GT/EA and not GT/AA ? 3900lb Vega or do they rate the 6.2 about the same as an old 283?

Good morning to all,
Yeah, Rule Book - that was something we used to get with our membership to NHRA?
I used to enjoy reading them while waiting for the rain to stop while at a race. Or made for some spirited discussions during the off season or maybe a " What If " combination. It would be nice to have them around again since we now only get National Dragster once a month!

Respectfully,

I liked the printed one as well, but all members can pull the rule book up on line from the NHRA site. You can still buy them, but there seems to be a lot of revisions each year so on line views are the most up to date.
