I'm not being nonchalant about it. Seems like a strange place to cheat since it's so easily checked. I don't see it. He had the wrong gasket, and in my view it's not worth all the brouhaha. Would seem to me that the block and heads got machined when the motor got freshened and nobody checked the cc's. I could be wrong, and that's fine, but again it seems a strange way to cheat if that was objective. |

Yes his head gaskets were too thick by .014 this weekend but you are making it sound like it's been in his car for many years .And you don't know that so why accuse him? I'm sure the NHRA is not going to let him slide but you want to take him to the woodshed .
