3056st tire is a M5 compound. 3056 is a L8 compound. St tire also has less tread-as all manual transmission tires. The compound is harder which wears less.

I always run the 3066st tire. This tire is no longer available. I tried the 3066 instead. Threw them away after 12 passes. Bought the 3056st. Right back where I was before, 'cept a few more rpms...
