Several years ago, I attempted to get the Pontiac GTP's into the Classification Manual. Ironically, even though Pontiac was the "Car of NHRA", they didn't have any of the 1997 & up Grand Prixs listed in the Manual. Len Imbragno tried for several years, and even made extra classes for the FWD cars. But they weren't classified until after he left.
The reason I mention all that is, at the time, I asked about changing the pulley diameter. I was told that only the STOCK pulley diameter would be allowed. Rules for Supercharged Stockers aren't addressed in the rulebook, but back in the old '57 Ford days they had to use the STOCK pulleys. Hardly anything else has changed in Stock since then, so I was just wonderin'.
