I hate to assume anything but I would venture a guess that your talking about the regular shelby that is factory 500 hp It has bigger valves (4 per clyinder BTW) more cam and more compression same cubes but you want the Cobra jet rated tha same?? While the CJ certainly shouldn't be 75 hp less it should be less. As for underrated combo debuts 94-98 LT 1 comes to mind 1st, then the 62 327 Corvette motor and I think I few mid 80 305 combos have had a ton of power tacked on over the years. Also the original Cobra jet as 428 has had plenty added to it over the years. I bet the new Cj's couldn't hang with Mr Pond Mr DeArmond o Mr Sorenson or Mr Barton or Mr Fiacci (sp) @ 450hp. Pure speculation on my part but time will tell I bet
