The Challenger was at Mopars at The Strip in Vegas in March and at
that time was running AA/SA or A/SA, sorry I've slept since then.

Robert Pond went 9.72@ 137.60 at Pomona Winternationals 2009, and Ryan Maclanhan in his Firebird went 138.10

A/SA Fairlane said, "Ponds' record factored back to altitude says he put 135.25 on the score board. I have never seen anything higher than that. I find it amazing we see over 1200 views and no one can give an answer though?"

Here's an answer for you:

I was at the Ennis NHRA Points Race about three weeks ago, and at least ONE, but maybe BOTH of the 2008 CJ Mustangs broke 140mph in qualifying. It was on the qualifying printout from the tower that the DRAW booth sells to racers.

It looks like you need to reread the question Bill. Thanks to Chris Whitney for an accurate answer. Since I don't get Natl dragster anymore its tough to keep on on what people are running for speeds

Colin,
That is where it was posted on the top of the qualifying sheet as the top MPH. Also, many saw the 140+ on the scoreboards.

Talking Re: Fastest Stocker Pass, Not New Cobra Jets

Jimmy and Chad Holzman debuted their new Cobra Jets at the Ennis points meet a couple of weeks ago. On the DRC website it showed Jimmy Holzman running 140.17; to the best of my knowledge, that was the first Stocker run over 140. Hope this info helps.
