With most local and state governments having cash flow issues you will probably see things like this pick up. They figure it's more likely someone out of state will not fight and they get free money.

TN and Ohio used to be real bad about this.
Five of us left Norwalk one time heading back to AL when we all got pulled over by state troopers. They let the first guy go....he had an Ohio tag, then proceeded to give us all speeding tickets then scoured the rigs for more violations.......they new we wouldn't come back to Ohio to fight them! TN used to be bad about having to buy "fuel stickers" for the tow rigs. Jim |
