I'm pretty sure in AM, BM you can run two carbs instead of one in AS, and BS

Yes, on the carb diff. Modified Stock mandates 850 & 750 single carb, depending on class. I think the transmissions don't have to be a corp match either & the rear tire size rule is dropped. It states ANY size that fits the orginal outer wheel well. There is no limitation on hood scoop either. Any type rear spoiler in Modified instead of fatory type in Modified stock..The firewall can be modified a little in Modified. might be more

So, in modified stock the transmission has to be a corporate match? Does PRO TRANS use a GM case or a Chrysler case?

You can only run a 4 speed in AS,BS, CS. In Modifed, you may run a 5 speed. Of course that is highly discouraged since the antique lameass weight break is still in effect for automatics so you don't see much call for that these days.

Hood scoops in as, bs,cs the top of the opening can be no than 5 inches from the hood. as uses an 850 while bs and cs uses a 750. as can use a splayed valve or wedge and in bs you can use a canted valve. cs you can only use a iron head without moving the valves. Wedge only....

As For the trans, you can use any trans in any car. Sticks carry more weight..
