Another thing I wanted to say before is you can CALL them whatever you want,but PLEASE don't change ANYTHING about the tires.I have run into this before,where a tire made by a certain manufacturer works very well and then they CHANGE the compound or something to try and "improve" them. The Hoosier tires that are currently made DO NOT need ANY "improvements" in my opinion.They work great! |

we've run the 92.5 on my comp car (it's a four cylinder) and the 94 inch tire would be a big problem in terms of gearing, so yeah, different numbers would be great.

I would definitely like to see the change in the designation of the tires to avoid confustion. I also agree that no change in the actual tire compound or construction is necessary, the performance is phenomenal!!

That is why I am trying to get it changed. The 30/9 is 92.5"cir. and the 9/30 is 94".

I also think it is a good idea.
Make sure the changes are in BOLD letters. But, no matter what you do, you will start getting calls, "what ever happened to size XXXXX?". Oh, a DOT version of the tire would be nice for those that want to run in other classes/events. ![]() |
