I believe that the blinder on the tree is supposed to cover not only the ambers, but also the green light, as noted here: http://www.nhradiv1.com/content/divt...4728&zoneid=24 Granted, those are Bracket Finals rules, but that's how I remember the blinder being configured when they first started blinding the tree in the first place. They left the red light open, so you could tell if the other guy fouled.
