Talking Re: Bad track at Pomona

Thanks Tom,,,, I could have a lot of fun here about Rich and a one foot difference,, but I'd better be nice. He'd probably thump me upside my head with his lens next time he sees me, even though hes' truly one of the nicest guys around.................................... Danny Durham

Hasn't NHRA been using VP Lane Choice ever since VP became their official fuel, etc.?

Michael, I don't think so. We see drums with JP1 labels sitting around at Tulsa and other tracks, and I asked which they are, VHT or VP? I was told it is VHT, and that they just changed the name. I believe HRP tried VP for a while and it really sucked. Last time we went there there were JP1 drums everywhere. HRP used to be one of the best hooking tracks in Div 4, but not so much now. Tulsa, Ennis and Memphis were best this year for me.

VP has or had instructions on how to apply their compounds......but I was just looking over their web site and can't find it. If someone can find it maybe this will shed some light as to why the traction problems...

Tulsa only recently switched to NHRA.

PJ-1 is VHT.
