33hp difference for body style? Yet 68-69 Chevelle still gets adjusted the same as Camaro and Chevy II? Gee, thanks....

Oh boy, the CJ's are at 439. The single-4 bbl "Nascar" Hemi got whacked with 10 hp and is actually rated higher than the CJ now. All this AFTER it was outrun at Indy. Guess that leaves the Drag Pak as the only non-CJ combo that has a prayer in AA/SA.

While I do feel that the AHFS can be effective, a little human input to correct the obvious HP rating flaws would be nice too.

I was wondering the same thing. Must have missed that one.

The 5 HP hit also means that 6.1 auto dragpak owners can only do AA or A, B gone.

The general consensus among people I know is the Chevelle is at least .05 or more slower just in the body size, wheelbase, suspension, etc.
Just need to work harder or spend more money I guess?

Mark, you are right on... I've been trying to tell the guys at NHRA exactly this for 2 years but they don't hear me. You can work harder and spend more money, I have (LOL) but at the end of it all you'll still be down that same .05. I can't tell you how many people have told me no matter how good I get my car working it's not going to run with the Camaro's. Your point is exactly why!

Am I missing something here?
Do you still have to put a number on the window?
Do you still have to run that number?
Do you still have to have a good reaction time?
The good drivers will still win with the changes and everybody else just deal with it!
You have to be kidding me? Really? I think most guys on here are concerned with the fact that that their combos may have been hit. Now they have to go spend more money to go as fast as they used to. Nothing to do with whatever you are talking about.
