Sometimes there is only 1 car in the semi's. Quarter-finalist should get a piece of the pie also. They don't even get back their entry. A smaller % to the winner and runner up because they get contingency. More racers getting something back might mean more racers participating.
Example: Based on a 64 car field with 50 paying $20 each = $1000.00 Winner - 20% $200.00 R/UP - 15% $150.00 Semi - 25% $125.00 each x 2 1/4's - 40% $100.00 each x 4
