Not so Live from Gainesville
Stock and Super Stock have been postponed till Sunday morning. Wrecks and oil downs have delayed this event.

Good thing I decided to convalese back home in Ohio....no oil here
 Sorry I missed you guys, tried to get the old man to run down, but he seemed hell bent on getting home as well....Monday back down. Then again hes 65 and got a good looking girlfriend , Im 38 and single.....hmmmm something seems wrong with this picture. Quote:

DRC reported that one of the delays was for a medical emergency in the pits. Any word on who it might have been?

A racer had an apparent heart attack in the pits. The Alatchua County F.D. and Safety Safari were right there. I am a 33 year veteran Firefighter/Paramedic and I can say the job done by all medical workers I witnessed was fantastic and professional. The racer had no pulse and was not breathing, when they loaded him into the Rescue Unit he had a pulse. Enroute to Shands Hospital after cardioversion (shock) in the unit he became wake and alert! The statistics on this happening is normally very low, about 2%. Truly a miracle! Jim
