Default Re: FWD Mopar Stocker

I always ran the stock cam. Car could be very consistent (when and if I left it alone!).
Biggest consistency secrete? Run a stick like I did. Everybody thinks with a turbo you need an auto so you can build the boost while staging. Wrong. That in itself leads to inconsistency as the boost will vary as you try to stage against the brakes. A turbo will go to your pre-determined boost as soon as you side step the clutch. Instantly.
Stiff front shocks. I ran Koni "sport" with adjustable knob on top (still drove it on the street).
My Shelby had the Getrag trans. Never had a problem internally. Once I went to a lite aluminum flywheel and the stiff Koni's I never had a problem with trans axles.
Too much fuel is better than not enough!
I always ran C-16 and 20-22 #'s of boost using the factory inter-cooler. Man, I always wanted to try an aftermarket inter-cooler...it would have helped a bunch!
