Transbrake launch rpm?

Sooo he was having a new engine built (he wanted to run 7.30's ) he got his new trans with a brake so put it in with the "old" engine....car went 7.48 first pass! He said "hell all I needed was the trans!" with the "new engine" the car ran 6.80's!!!

If I pick up 2 tenths on the brake, I'll have one big smile. Anything into the 9's and I'm happy.
