This was a NMRA race. NHRA had nothing to do with it. You can not set NHRA records at a NMRA race. Bob

I couldnt agree more.....bikes too....
Im thinking Stock Eliminator is a bit slow for me at times ![]() Well see in August I think 250+ Will be fun.........Then again Ill probably wear a depends just in case it scares the , stuffing outta me. (On one of my cars I taped a Diaper and a "Camping" ash tray, my dad said I understand the diaper. But I dont understand the ash tray, I said well if I die in the car in a blaze of fire, you can just shake the car a bit and remove the ash tray, no cremation needed) (To any who question my sanity or what Im saying my tounge is firmly impanted in my cheek at the moment, well except for august and 250+)

Look around at some of the outlaw heads up classes. There are cars on 26 x 8.5" slicks running mid to low 5 sec 1/8 mile times. The mustang stock suspension is a great working piece also. Lots of cars running fast with stock suspension. |

BTW if you've seen the CJ in question in person I'm sure your opinion would be a bit different.

At 140mph things happen really fast and those lanes swap postions damned quickly. Just think how fast you can travel that 40' between the two cars if your running 30 mph faster than to other lane.
