Sure, that is my shift light. The dash unit we run has different color lights red in the center and green on each side. Nothing too high tech unfortunately.

Scott,
Very well done. Projects like this will help class racing very much. I think I have to disagree with Bobby about the fact the youger generation not caring about old school cars. I think it's more they just don't seem them that often and so they are less identifiable to them whereas the Scion is a vehicle friends and family members may drive every day to work or school. Most of grew in the 60's and 70's when muscle cars were common on the street and not just relegated to car shows, museums and race tracks.
Our sport need the infusion of new cars and participants and I applaud Scott, his crew and the Scion folks for getting on board. JMT.

Exellent production, and some pretty good drag racing.

Even though you made smaller peices of your block, you laid down a terrific story line.

This is the kind of promotion that can only be good for racing in general, and Super Stock in particular.

Awesome, and that "shipping crate" you call a car, sure does move down the track pretty good. Congratulations on it all!!!

Great video, glad to here there's such positive response here and all over the net. READ, theres a big 4 in drag racing now. Toyota has joined the ranks getting into hardcore NHRA in top fuel, funny car and now super stock. TYhis is great news for drag racings future. Toyota has had a funny car since Alan Johnsons side project teams of some 10 years ago, and toyota had a few inde' turbo teams out there in supras in sport compact, which they took very seriously, and kicked major butt in.
GM, Ford, Mopar, Toyota. The futures looking bright.

Yes David that was a giant bummer. What is funny is we have gone 6 years without an engine failure at the track. The engine parts are nice to work with and very reliable. We really do our best to service everything so this kind of thing does not happen. We do not want to get stereotype as a "leaker" or "breaker" with NHRA or our fellow racers.

Scott I would like to get to run you one day. Two FWD cars at the same time would be something the tower could talk about
But the only thing that worries me is.
One well placed hand grenade could solve a problem for the FWD haters. LOL
