I would give Joe Russell Customs (330)268-6374 in Ohio a call too. I saw a Challenger he did while at Indy, nice work. He has my car now.

Rory one of the best and well engineered late 60's and 70's A/SACorvette belongs to Dave Casey who is a member on Class racer I'm sure that he can help you with any question you might have. His Corvette is a work of heart. To answer you question yes you can go with a solid tube rearend and get ride of the IRS and sell it on ebay. Good luck.

Auto fab race cars makes a 4 link kit. Since these pictures I have moved coil overs to the inside of the chassis to lower car and use 12" coilovers instead of the 10" they supply with the kit. I heated the chassis and banged it in where the trailing arms used to enter the chassis for more clearance. I fit a 29x10 slick on it or a 295/65 drag radial and both are inside the quarter panels.

another pic, 12" coil over moved in board.
