Both local cars to me when I lived in Md. Steel front end Pink Panther with a 415 HP Max Wedge and the Dodge with an alum front end and a 425 HP combo owned by Herb Freels. I certified the Pink Panthers engine for an IHRA record back in around 1971/72 at the Colonial Beech Va. points race when Sonny Freeman owned it. .
P.S. That looks like the pits at Aquasco Speedway in Southern Md. when the Dodge pix was taken.

When Tom Morota got the1964 Ply it was a Alum. nose car .Black with red int.Then he Painted it pink.He traded a 1963 max Wedge Convert. with a 383 for the 1964 car.
