Big Show, tone it down a little. Wade is one hard working and prolific racer, who is working on a rare combination and probably hopes to have a competitive car when he finally ends with his project. Everybody has the right to an opinion and to express it but I'm always surprise when I see someone starts his rebuttal with an insult. Claude Ruel

As someone who has raced and had NHRA literally render my car unraceable with a single ruling, I understand what people are feeling. My "tone" matches the inflamitory statements made by other posters.

The LT! and Ls1 cars were under rated also by about 50 hp. That little deal ran off a lot of good racers especially those with G,F,E and D cars. NHRA finally had to put them in their own classes until the hp ratings became more realistic. Now those cars don't have an advantage over the older cars because they are rated close to what they should be. The big difference in the 94- 2002 Firebirds and Camaros is that they were cars that were made and sold to the public and could be liscensed and driven on the road.

I agree. The last Ford production car allowed in Stock was the 2008 Mustang GT. Not a single production car Ford engine was legal after that.
