Yeah Ed, No heads up, because its a "Combo" race and not an OPEN. Most of these I've been involved with you don't want heads up to help car count. Also if you set records now it's an official event and you need full crew and tech advisors. We were just lookin for a last race and if everybody liked it we'd have a series and maybe some sponsors!!!

I would come to Houston and probably to No Problem but only if the entry was $100. but no to either if the entry was $300.
Thanks for possibly putting this together.

Great idea Mr. Helms!!!
Likely need to walk before you can run though...the lower entry with an obvious smaller payout makes sense....what do I know I'm just a dummy from Canada!!! Kudos for getting the ball rolling!!.. Who knows a Cajun/Redneck combo stock/superstock Association may just be around the corner!!!..the CRSSSA... quite possibly a great alternative to the _HRA choices we have available to us now!! Run Forrest Run!!!
If the budget allows....I'd donate my money to the Winner!!!
there's my "for what its worth"....going back to making ICE CUBES!!
Later.....
Newbomb!!

The Bowling Green Combos do very well with heads up runs, I definitely don't think it hurts their car count

Scott,
You can definitely count us in! Atleast 2 cars from our camp.

Scott, You can count Junior and I in for a 64 car field to run for the pay out of $10,000 to win $3,500. runner up, it's better than NHRA's pay out. If you can get it together we will be there. Roger Green said he would bring his new Stocker and I'm sure we can get J.W. Hames an Wayne Winfield so there are 4 cars.

Jeff, there will not be a Winter Series race in Valdosta this year, if that is what you are referring to. Jim
