Alan , I don't think we disagree over much, but the point I was making is that tracks have bottom lines too.
Speedworld does a great job with track prep...Much better than Firebird, IMHO. But if I have a nostalgia race with a bunch of old cars/ drivers having fun, and a FEW S/SS combo cars expected, I can't ask for anything extra. I can't go to the race director and say "How about a little extra glue? Don Kennedy and 2-3 other SS' ers might show up." Now ,with 60-70 cars like at BG,...that's a different story. And no, I I'd never sacrifice quality in my converters because of parts cost... But, if it got to where I could only make $100 a converter, I'd probably have to switch gears and crank out a bunch of cheapie re-mans to make a living. Jacko, We'll see how good I am if I can get Ol' Kennedy on the right page here..
